What To Expect: A fascinating, eclectic group exhibition that showcases small works (most 30cm x 30xm or smaller) by the likes of William Kentridge, Faith 47, Penny Siopis, Diane Victor, Lorenzo Nassimbeni and many more. The tiny scale of the pieces, which include etchings, paintings, photographs, sculptures and prints, makes for incredibly detailed results that magnify the artist’s techniques.
Neethlingshof Woordfees Picnic Concerts

Where: Neethlingshof Estate, Stellenbosch
What To Expect: A series of daily picnic concerts at the beautiful, historic Neethlingshof Estate will delight guests with food, wine and the sweet sounds of a range of artists, including The Nomadic Orchestra, Chris Chameleon, Die Heuwels Fantasties and Al Bairre. Smoke-fired Ceramic Exhibition At Art In The Forest
When: Saturday 5 March to Saturday 2 April
Where: Art in the Forest, Rhodes Drive, Constantia Nek, Cape Town
What To Expect: Dubbed a centre of ceramic excellence, Art in the Forest is celebrating the ancient art of smoke firing with a month-long exhibition devoted to piece made using this approach. The show is open Mondays to Saturdays but we recommend you attend the opening event on Saturday 5 March (11am) to hear renowned UK ceramicist, Christine Gittins, speak.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Joburg
When: Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 March
Where: Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton City, Johannesburg
What To Expect: The spotlight will be shone on the South African fashion scene as an impressive line-up of emerging and established designers showcase their Autumn/Winter collections on the catwalk. Viewers can expect to see the whole spectrum, from street wear to haute couture, created by names like David Tlale, Marianne Fassler, Khosi Nkosi and Stefania Morland. Chenin Blanc & Pinotage Celebration

What To Expect: Wine Concepts’ Newlands store is hosting a celebration of local wines that treats visitors to tastes of latest release Chenin Blancs and Pinotages from 20 of South Africa’s finest wineries. Durban International Jazz Extravaganza

What To Expect: This first-of-its-kind show is a celebration of pure jazz geared at musical enthusiasts with a fine-tuned appreciation for this unique genre. Stellenbosch Vineyards Pizza & Wine Festival
