HalalTrip, an online travel site for Muslims, and ProductiveMuslim, a company that aims to advise Muslims, have launched a halaal retreat that combines spirituality with personal development.
The retreat is targeted at Muslim entrepreneurs, students and professionals who are looking to take time off to reassess their lives and learn practical life skills, while adhering to their faith-based requirements, and aims to empower attendees to live healthier and spiritually connected lives.
“The retreat incorporates spirituality, personal development, physical wellbeing, social work and stunning sightseeing, providing an incredible way to escape the stresses of daily life, while practising and living a productive Muslim lifestyle,” says Mohammed Faris, founder and ceo of ProductiveMuslim.
The first ProductiveMuslim Retreat will take place at the five-star Anantara Tangalle Beach Resort in Sri Lanka from 19 to 25 November 2016. Activities will include spiritual reflection alongside jogging, cycling and visits to an orphanage. The group will also have a productivity expert, fitness instructor and nutritionist on hand for the duration of the retreat.
