Avis has increased its chauffeur compliment in the run up to and during the festive season, especially as businesses host their year-end functions and holiday-makers eagerly take to the roads. The reality is, this is also a time when a high number of road accidents occur on South African roads.
“To ensure we deliver on our customer’s expectations, we have increased the number of chauffeurs during the festive season in our Avis Point 2 Point and Avis Chauffeur Drive transfer services. Our chauffeurs are well trained in all aspects of chauffeur driving including first aid training, road etiquette, advanced and defensive driving principles as well as the safety elements covering hi-jack management”, says Rebone Motsatsi, Executive Commercial at Avis southern Africa.
Avis chauffeurs are always in uniform so customers can identify both the chauffeur and vehicle easily.
Our chauffeurs are trained to the highest standards and rated high on the customer service index so you can be rest assured that you are in safe hands.
The service also provides customers with reliable vehicles that are well maintained and have low mileage.
First Aid level 1 training including CPR and artificial respiration.
“At Avis, we believe that to provide customers with a peace of mind on the roads, we have to invest in our people to deliver the best service. We are extremely proud of our chauffeurs who ensure that our customers can relax and enjoy a safe and comfortable drive to their various destinations,” concludes Motsatsi.
